He is made of cuddly soft light brown plush with striped knitted paw pads and is filled with all new materials. Hoppel has the famous Steiff button-in-ear with a yellow label. He is machine washable at 30C. This Steiff product conforms to European safety standards, holding the CE symbol and complies with Oeko-Tex standard 10
