Tiroler Jagdwurst (Tyrolean Sausage with garlic)
With a flavor that hails from western Austria, Tiroler Jagdwurst is a slightly coarse sausage featuring a mild flavor and a hint of garlic. Fully cooked and ready to eat, this versatile sausage is delicious pan-fried for breakfast, sliced thin for a sandwich, or cubed for a party tray or German Fleischsalat (see recipe in Serving Information).
Will stay fresh up to 4 weeks if unopened and refrigerated. Once opened, use or freeze within 7 days. Can also be frozen for up to 2 months without affecting flavor or quality. If frozen, defrost slowly in refrigerator; do not thaw at room temperature.
